Cutting Stainless Steel

When cutting stainless sheets and sections, high loading and excessive heat should be avoided to prevent distortion and subsequent corrosion problems.

PFERD and Tyrolit cut-off wheels are ideal for use on stainless steel. These discs are optimized to provide, cool, fast cutting on stainless. Pick a specialized stainless disc if you intend to cut a lot of stainless steel. Similar benefits are obtained with these tools on tough and hard aluminum.
