Cartridge Rolls
KLINGSPOR and PFERD cylindrical cartridge rolls are ideal for small areas and fit on mandrels. They consist of a spiral wound coated abrasive.
The tool is held securely in place during grinding by a grooved tapered arbor. Tapered cartridge rolls are perfect for edge sanding or in and around holes on metal or wood. 
These may be used on spindle sanders, drill presses, or hand held tools and provide excellent stock removal performance. Fresh grain is exposed in successive layers as the outer abrasive coat wears off.
Applications Include:
- Deburring on bores and hard-to-reach places
- Fillet weld dressing on metal structures
- Removal of flash on castings.
- Pro Tip - Always grind with the tip and not the roll surface to prevent thermal weakening of the adhesive bond.
